Lilyaire | Scented Water Lily Wax Bar (Set of 2)

I was so excited to try Minute & Co’s scented bars — I even bought a pack of two, one for myself and one for my best friend. We were thrilled by the promise of a fresh, long-lasting fragrance that would keep our cars smelling great for 4+ months. Unfortunately, this turned out to be a complete waste of money.

First, despite buying two packs, I only received one pouch to hang the bars in the car. Thankfully, I had a spare pouch of similar material, so we managed to share — but that was just the beginning of the disappointment.

We waited patiently for 4-5 days, expecting the fragrance to fill our cars, but there was absolutely no scent. Thinking the pouch might be the problem, we removed it and hung the bars directly — and that’s when things got even worse. By the next morning, the wax had melted, smeared all over our car interiors, and the bars had fallen off. And still — no fragrance, not even after the wax had melted!

I understand that removing the pouch wasn’t ideal, but the fact remains — even after melting, the bars produced no scent at all. The company claims these bars are more affordable because they last longer than regular car perfumes, but what’s the point of lasting forever if they don’t smell at all and just create a mess?

This has been a hugely disappointing experience, and I wouldn’t recommend these scented bars to anyone. It’s far better to invest in a trusted brand, even if it’s a bit more expensive, because at least those deliver a pleasant fragrance.

Save your money — this product simply doesn’t live up to its promises.
